WARRANTY, RETURNS & SERVICE POLICY

Reliable Mobility sells mobility products manufactured by third-party manufacturers, including Vive Health, Journey Health & Lifestyle, and other manufacturers that may be offered on our website.

Manufacturer Warranty

Products sold by Reliable Mobility are covered solely by the warranty, if any, provided by the manufacturer of the specific product.

Reliable Mobility does not provide or extend any separate product warranty beyond the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, limitations, parts coverage, battery coverage, and available remedies vary by manufacturer and product.

Customers should review the manufacturer’s warranty applicable to their specific product before purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, Reliable Mobility may assist the customer with information necessary to contact or submit a claim to the manufacturer; however, all warranty determinations, approvals, repairs, replacement parts, replacements, and other remedies are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and approval.

Manufacturer warranty terms may change from time to time. The warranty applicable to the product at the time of purchase will control.

Returns

Because power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, batteries, and related mobility products are specialized products, returns are subject to the return eligibility requirements applicable to the specific product and manufacturer.

A return must be requested within the return period stated for the product and must receive authorization before the product is shipped back.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product:

* Products must be returned in like-new condition with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, chargers, components, and materials.
* Used, damaged, altered, modified, or incomplete products may be refused for return or may be subject to deductions from the refund.
* Return shipping, freight charges, original shipping charges, restocking fees, and other return-related costs may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted under the applicable return policy.
* Products may not be returned after the applicable return period has expired except where required by law or covered by an applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
* No product should be returned without prior authorization and return instructions.

The specific return period and any applicable restocking or shipping charges may vary by manufacturer and product. The return terms displayed for the applicable product at the time of purchase will control.

Repairs & Service

Reliable Mobility does not operate a repair or service department and does not provide on-site or in-home repair services.

If a product requires diagnosis, maintenance, or repair, the customer may be required to work directly with the manufacturer and/or locate an authorized or qualified mobility equipment service provider in the customer’s area.

Reliable Mobility does not guarantee the availability of local repair technicians, service centers, or dealers in any particular geographic area.

Any costs associated with diagnosis, labor, transportation, pickup, delivery, installation, repair, or service are the customer’s responsibility unless specifically covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty Parts

If a manufacturer approves replacement parts under warranty, the manufacturer’s policies will determine whether the part is provided at no charge and whether labor or installation is included.

Reliable Mobility does not guarantee or provide free labor for the installation of manufacturer-supplied warranty parts unless expressly stated in writing at the time of purchase.

Shipping Damage & Defective Products

Customers should inspect their product promptly upon delivery.

Any visible shipping damage, missing components, or product defects should be reported to Reliable Mobility as soon as possible after delivery. Customers may be asked to provide photographs, video, packaging photographs, serial numbers, or other documentation so that Reliable Mobility and/or the manufacturer can evaluate the issue.

Customers should retain the original packaging until they have inspected and tested the product.

No Unauthorized Returns

Do not ship or return a wheelchair, scooter, battery, or other product to Reliable Mobility or the manufacturer without receiving return authorization and shipping instructions.

Unauthorized returns may be refused and may not qualify for a refund.

Manufacturer Terms Control

If there is a conflict between this policy and the written warranty terms of the manufacturer concerning warranty coverage, the manufacturer’s written warranty terms will control with respect to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or waive any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or waived under applicable federal or state consumer protection law.

For questions regarding warranty or return eligibility, please contact Reliable Mobility before returning or servicing your product.
